GRIFFIN MARCHING BAND
The LOS AL Marching Band is an award-winning, high-energy outdoor performance ensemble open to all winds, percussion, and color guard students in the Fall Semester. The band begins rehearsals in the summer, and meets 3 days per week in the fall during 7th period. Performances include school and community events, football games, and regional marching band competitions.
INDOOR DRUMLINE
The LAHS Indoor Drumline is a contemporary, competitive percussion ensemble open to students by audition only. In the winter and spring, the group competes in local, regional, and national competitions. Rehearsals are twice per week beginning in December and competitions are weekends in February - April.
WINTER GUARD
The LAHS Winter Guard is competitive, athletic dance program using props as a visual expression of musical performance. This group is open to all interested students, regardless of dance skill level. In the winter and spring, the group competes in local, regional, and national indoor competitions. Rehearsals are held three days per week during the season, and weekend competitions take place February - April.
